Family-run - Haleiwa-grown

Lokoea Farms

About Us

Nestled in Hale‘iwa's Anahulu river valley on Oahu's North Shore, Lokoea Farms is a local family-run operation that has producing delicious food since 2000. We mainly produce naturally-grown "Hale‘iwa Gold" Hawaiian oranges and Meyer lemons, as well as a variety of other fruit including limes, grapefruit, avocado, mango, papaya and more.

We have the deepest respect for our land, and aim to improve our soil year after year by using regenerative practices such as compost, mulching, and cover crops in the orchard. We use recycled rain water to irrigate our trees. Our first line of defense against pests is growing healthy trees with healthy immune systems. We only use OMRI-approved organic pesticides as a last resort, preferring to promote beneficial bugs and soil organisms.

You can purchase our products through Farm Link Hawaii for pickup island-wide or home delivery. Our wholesale and restaurant buyers can contact us to arrange for pickup at the farm or delivery. Future plans include a on-site retail farmstand to service our neighborhood customers.

We offer farm tours through AirBnB Experiences. Visit our Tours and Farm-Stays page to learn more and book.

Our Story

Who We Are

Lokoea Farms is a local family-run Fruit Farm that has been producing delicious fresh products for almost 2 decades.

Donald started planting the trees in 2000, and his daughter Noe joined him in 2015 as farm manager after completing the GoFarm Hawaii beginning farmers training program.

Noe grew up on the land where our farm is now, back when it was surrounded by sugarcane and Hale‘iwa was still a sleepy little plantation town. After spending some time on the mainland, she returned to her home town to help her family run the farm. She's learned a lot about tropical fruit and citrus in the last few years, and the struggling little business is now financially sustainable and provides her with a full-time job!

"Like my trees, I have deep roots in this special place. I love my farm, and I'd love to share it with you," - Noe.
